Assistant Professor, Medical Information System Laboratory (MISL),
Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences, Doshisha University.

S. Hiwa received Ph.D. in Engineering from Doshisha University, in Mar 2015. From Apr 2007 to Sep 2015, he worked on modeling, simulation, control and optimization of automotive electronic devices such as electrochemical capacitors, power converters and batteries, in Panasonic Corporation. In Oct 2015 he joined the Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences at Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan, as an assistant professor. His current research interests include human brain mapping, noninvasive neuroimaging, well-being and mindfulness, computational intelligence, and decision making.
